July 11, 20232 yr Sorry if this question is answered elsewhere — I took a peek and couldn't quite find an answer. I use a Mac Studio (I need big video/PSD storage), and my Dad uses Windows (he needs big photo storage). Instead of building two separate servers for our respective computers, we thought it might be nice to have one (since we live in the same household). However, I'm a bit concerned about formatting — OSX doesn't natively support NTFS, and Windows doesn't support any native OSX formats either. Quote My questions — 1.) Does Unraid allow two separate NTFS and APFS format zones to be created, where we can both meet our own storage needs? 2.) Does Unraid use some sort of unrelated file format that Unraid translates for both machines? Sorry if this is not the most elegantly-asked question! I'm not sure exactly how Unraid works, and I haven't quite finished buying the four hard drives I need to try out Unraid to *see* if it works. Thanks so much for reading, and hope you guys have a great day!
