6.11.5 Target is Busy

Featured Replies

My array won't stop.  Looking at the syslog I see this over and over. Disk 4 is completely empty, is excluded from all my shares, docker service is stopped, and VM Service is stopped.

What can I do?

After 45 minutes the array finally stopped. False Alarm.

What is actually held on disk4?   I am assuming it is there for a good reason?

One common mistake which prevents a disk being unmounted ishaving a console open with the current directory on the disk that won’t unmount.    Changing directory to somewhere else then allows the unmount to proceed.   I’ve been guilty of this mistake in the past.
