"eth0" does not exist problem

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I'm having an issue booting up Unraid after installing some new hardware.  It boots up, but very slowly and gives the "eth0" does not exist error.  I've checked the network cable on another computer and it works fine, so that means its either a software or (hopefully not motherboard) hardware problem.  I'm fairly new to Unraid and linux in general so I'm not sure where to even start to troubleshoot this.  I've attached my syslog.  Any help is appreciated thank you!

Try deleting the network.cfg file from the config folder on the flash drive.

I figured it out.  I used an ethernet to usb adapter and it picked up the connection right away. RIP my motherboard gotta return it.  Thanks for the responses I appreciate it.
