August 25, 20232 yr Re-building my UNRAID mATX homelab. Got my hands on a Ryzen 7900x, 64GB DDR5 and mATX mobo with 2 x PCIe 4.0 x4 nvme slots. I have 2 x WD SN850X 2TBs nvmes and 1 x 4TB Samsung SSD. What's the most optimum way to set up UNRAID for VM and Plex usage? Assign the SSD to the Array and create a chache pool from the NVMEs? I want to have the fastest possible read/write speeds for my VMs and Plex. If I need to buy another drive to make the set up more resilient/faster, that's fine. Thanks.
