Hey guys looking at building a pc

Needs are powerful for plex, jellyfin, emby, usenet, sab, torrent, sonnar

Now would it be a advantage to run 1 machine with the download power and another machine running the plex, jelly, emby, with quick sync for transcoding

Or any suggestions would be great atm I'm running 3x8tb hdd, ssd,

Unless you intend opening this system up to the outside world resulting in 24/7 downloads and streaming, then, no.

Plenty of modern CPU's capable of running a multi household family setup on its own very easily.

Core and thread count matter, discrete GPU would be helpful (Doesn't have to be over the top) iGPU more than adequate to a point.

RAM wise, that depends on your plan. VM's? LXC containers? Docker? My advice, go one step above your lowest number. so if you think 16GB go 32, 32GB, go 64. 128 is not necessary.

Good luck
