Still getting macvlan kernel crashes (I think?)

Featured Replies

Hi, so let me preface this with that I have not much idea with networks, I'm trying to learn as I go along but I run a PMS with the arr's and overseerr which I expose to the internet and I use cloudflare tunnels to do so.

This is what I came back to one day and found nothing was working, so once I reset it all worked again.

I saw an update that said that the macvlan stuff was fixed but I'm still getting these crashes every few days and it's annoying as I'm away from home a lot so I can't immediately fix it.

What do I do? I saw another thread mention changing to ipvlan, but in that guide it mentioned having an extra ethernet port which I don't have. I run custom IPs for my dockers as that was the only way to get them to talk to each other and obviously I use port forwarding for some of the tunnel/domain stuff which I think I lose when changing to IPVLAN as I can't specifically target the individual IPs.

I'm very confused but would love to sort my issues out, if someone can talk to me like a 5 year old on what I need to do that would be fantastic. I attached diagnostics as well in case that helps.tower-diagnostics-20231001-2020.zip

Thank you in advance for any and all help :)

See the v6.12.4 release notes, you need to either change to ipvlan or disable bridging for eth0.
