Get_Schwifty
It was a typical evening when I was tending to my Unraid server, a trusted companion in my digital life. Little did I know that this night would be marked by an unexpected twist in my server's journey. As I was performing routine maintenance, disaster struck – my cache drive, a vital cog in the system, decided it had served its time and promptly failed. Panic set in as I realized the potential loss of data. But there was a glimmer of hope: I had a backup of my cache drive. Summoning all my technical prowess, I swiftly replaced the ailing cache drive with a new one, optimistic that the worst was behind me. After restoring the backup onto the new cache drive, a sigh of relief escaped me. It seemed like I had dodged a data loss catastrophe. However, my elation was short-lived as I ventured into the realm of my Docker containers. To my dismay, they were empty – a digital wasteland where once thriving applications and services had resided. My heart sank as I realized that the contents of my Docker containers had not made it into the backup. The loss of my Docker data was a stark reminder of the importance of comprehensive backup strategies. While my cache drive disaster had been averted, the void left in my Docker containers was a sobering lesson. In the world of server management, one can never be too careful, and the value of meticulous backups cannot be overstated. And so here I am at your mercy the online knights of Unraid universe. What must I do. Quote Link to comment
itimpi
Did you try restoring your docker container binaries via Apps->Previous Apps? This would be the normal next step which you seem to have omitted. Quote Link to comment
