Is it possible to install unraid on a hard drive alongside a existing debian system (dual boot)?

Featured Replies

Would appreciate any pointers. I already have the Debian 12 system installed and would like to keep it there. I tried  to get there by moving the separate partition where I extracted unraid files to the 1st place in the partition table, and run the Linux command, but now I'm getting the "waiting up to 30 seconds for device with label unraid to come online" when trying to boot unraid up.

BTW, can anybody tell me what the correct filesystem is for the unraid system partition after running

sudo bash ./make_bootable_linux ? I understand the initial partition FS is fat32. But that does not sound like the usual linux root parittion's FS.

Thanks

Unraid needs to boot from a flash drive.
