Aurelien
Hi everyone, I need help, I have unraid running smoothly on an i3 6100 and mobo Asrock q170m vpro with 32go ram with a 1070 for years. I had the opportunity to upgrade with an i7 7700k (I updated to latest bios for the cpu) I can only boot if I put only one ram stick only. As soon as I put the two 16g ram stick (in all different position) I can't boot unraid as I am stuck with bzroot or bzimage checksum error. I tried Change usb stick Change different usb port Untight CPU cooler as I read online that it could be an issue for the mobo. Remove the '-' in the 'EFI-' folder name in the usb Add the argument intel_iommu=on iommu=pt before booting Tried different ram 4x4go, it does boot but unraid detect only 2 of them. Tried a diffeent i7 7700k (from a friend) and I have exactly the same issue I updated to the latest unraid OS and still nothing All ram stick are perfectly detected in the bios. Do you have any idea on how to solve this issue ? Thanks for your help ! tower-diagnostics-20231108-1005.zip Quote Link to comment
itimpi
You could try this fix from the online documentation accessible via the Manual link at the bottom of the Unraid GUI. In addition every forum page has a DOCS link at the top and a Documentation link at the bottom. If this helps, why it should be affected by the number of RAM sticks I have no idea.
