How to add Raid1 array?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone! Please advise.

I have installed Unraid, made an array (please see the attachment), and played around with it for some time.

Now I would like to add 2 more drives and arrange them in a separate software Raid1 array.

I wand this 2 drives to be my main storage for my personal data, but it should be accessible by apps in docker (Photoprism for example), and I want to keep the Unraid array for apps, VMs, downloads, media library and etc.

Is it possible?

Stop the array and click on "Add Pool"

It says so in your screenshot.

You have two drives (Cache and Cache 2), each a 320GB drive.

On the right, it shows the total size is 320GB, and that Cache 2 is part of the pool.

Therefore, you must be configured as Raid1.

To test, write something to the pool, and go back to the Main tab.  Both drives should show write activity.

You can also click on the first pool device and scroll down to the btrfs fi show info to confirm, but kike mentioned, based on the screenshot it's already raid1, and that's also the default.
