November 24, 20232 yr the following disk shows as "pool" in unassigned devices and I can't zero or format the drive the drive was purchased used off ebay and no data is need off of it from what I gather LVM is some type of logical volume manager, which I dont understand. Is there a command line I can use to remove said lvm suff and get this drive usable in unraid? sdag 66:0 0 14.6T 0 disk └─vg_0061-lv_0061 254:0 0 14.6T 0 lvm PS this is a SAS drive, so hooking it up to a windows macine to resolve like simular post is not an option thanks for your help Edited November 24, 20232 yr by bbrodka tittle
November 24, 20232 yr Have you enabled destructive mode in unassigned devices settings? After enabling you should be able to remove any file systems/partitions on the disk.

November 24, 20232 yr Hmm, ok. Maybe the steps at https://www.2daygeek.com/how-to-delete-remove-lvm-logical-volume-in-linux/ will do the trick, the commands should be available at unraid as well.
