GPU passthrough to run the new WRC Game.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I used to run one GamePC and one Unraid Server. The first was seldom in use and the latter pulled 300-400W. So, I made some changes closing the specific game PC, and added a lower powered 24/7 server. The Game PC is moved to a VM on the bigger server.

I was able to get a few stages on the new WRC Rally game, but then the GPU passthrough failed. I have tried setting up the GPU as primary and secondary GPU, with and without passing through vbios (modified) and the mods in SIO´s video, but I can't get it (RTX3090) visible in Device Manager. I tried both Windows 10 and Windows 11. The VM is running on "Server 2" in the Signature.

I'm tried to get in working over 2-3 days and about 10 hours work. Now I can need a push in the right direction.

Cheers

The stub didn't work. Remove it - restart - enable stub, and I found 3090 appeared in device manager. I have restarted the server several times (10 at least) but that wasn't enough.

OK. it works as second GPU. I haven't tried as primary.
