Unable to delete shares on 5.0b12a

Featured Replies

I'm having trouble removing shares on 5.0-beta12a, deleting the name isn't working. I can't create new shares either.

Any suggestions?

Nobody?

Nobody?

is the share empty?  if not it will not be removed

Try deleting the share directory on each disk, blanking out the share name and hitting apply and then stopping the array and starting the array.

You could also delete the config file on the flash while the array is stopped. It will be named the same as the share name. It will be in a subdirectory called something like shares underneath a directory called something like config. I can't check the names right now but it shouldn't be hard to find.

Many thanks! Deleting them off the disks did the trick. I should have tried it sooner >_>
