December 6, 20232 yr Good afternoon everyone, Recently I did an upgrade to my plex server. I added a new motherboard, powersupply, , CPU, and 2 new 14 TB drives. I'm using one of the drives as a parity to replace my old 12 TB parity that's pretty old. I'm currently doing a parity swap onto one of the 14 TB drives. Last night while doing the parity rebuild I started messing around with installing VMs. I installed SteamOS VM and never got around to actually doing anything on it. Last night around 02:00 EST I started losing connection with the server while on my laptop. I chalked it up to my laptop being a POS and just went to bed. This morning I got on my desktop and checked on the parity build aswell as some of my dockers. everything appeared fine. webUI was slow but assumed that was due to parity rebuild. Around 14:00 EST the webUI stopped working completely. I checked to make sure the parity build was still running using mdcmd status command which it appears it's still working and is about 75-80% of the way finished. My docker containers, Plex, radarr, sonarr, etc all still work and I'm able to access their webui using the 192 address with the port or using Local.host:port. I've tried restarting nginx thru the terminal with a keyboard connected to the unraid server itself which didn't fix anything. I don't want to restart the server as it's doing a parity rebuild. My router detects the server. I still have access to the SMB shares thru windows. I'm unable to get the diagnostics folder as it's doing the rebuild. I'm not sure if I have SSH setup or not but don't think I do.

Can you get diagnostics from command line? I added the 14tb as parity 2 and left the 12 tb in parity 1 slot. I'm not sure how to access the diagnostics from the command line. I know typing Diagnostics will download it to the flash drive, but wouldn't pulling the flashdrive disrupt the parity rebuild? Edited December 7, 20232 yr by Xikky
December 7, 20232 yr Community Expert You can access the contents of flash on the network if you have shared it.
