December 19, 20232 yr today I have a 5900x and a rtx 3050 for transcoding in my server. I want to build a new one that are more power efficient (also want to play with something new) I was thinking of buying a minisforum npb6, that has a intel i7-13620H. on the tests I have read and seen on youtube it should be good enough to transcode 4K movies. The minisforum npb6 has 2 nvme slots, I was thinking of using a NVMe to sata adapter https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Internal-Non-RAID-Desktop-Support/dp/B09N8MCDTZ/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=nvme+m.2+to+sata+adapter&qid=1702740030&sr=8-5#customerReviews or simular adapter And 3d print a HDD cage. are there any concerns with doing it this way?
