PLEX GPU Transcoding

Featured Replies

This used to work and has stopped at some point. I'm not really sure why.

I'm pretty sure my setup is correct.

Extra Parameters: --runtime=nvidia --mount type=tmpfs,destination=/tmp,tmpfs-size=12000000000 --no-healthcheck

Under my Plex transcoder settings, I have it turned on and the graphics card selected.

I have checked the forum for similar topics and double checked my setup (which I followed Space Invader's guide a while back).

I'm really baffled.

Is there something obvious I have missed?

Additional Info:

I'm going off the GPU Statistics plugin which indicates no dockers were using the GPU and no load.

I'm running a Quadro P2000 and can't get it to show in the Plex docker. Just shows AUTO for Hardware Transcoding Device. I've got the Nvidia Driver in Unraid and GPU Stats. In the kernel level it is good to go. I'm using Hotio's Plex Docker and it doesn't have the Nvidia Visible Devices nor the Nvidia Driver Capabilities, but I added them as variables. I see this is a dead topic, but I'm eager for this to be working as well!

In case anyone else runs into this issue, rolling back the Nvidia driver to v470.256.02 finally fixed this for me using a Quadro P400
