Tensorflow GPU mode in Nextcloud Python and PIP

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, after two full days of evaluation I think that I will stay around for awhile :)
My goal is to install Nextcloud with recognize app and allow it to use GPU. I am aware of the VM and passtrough (coming from ESXi world) but I like to learn new things and I really like to concept of sharing GPU among containers. This is why I am here.

So far I maneged to install:

  • Postgres15 (official)
  • Nexctcloud (lscr.io/linuxserver/nextcloud)
  • Nvidia Driver (ich777)

I passed all the nvidia parameters to the nextcloud container and now I discovered that the container is missing Python, PIP, Tensorflow and even if those are installed they won't sustain a reboot.
Does anyone have an experience setting this up? Is there a way to add something to the container?

P.S.

As I am learning more and more I found that there is a "Nextcloud-aio-mastercontainer" but I was unable to find the guide for it.

Was you able to find any info on this? I'm interested as well.

Unfortunately I was not able to make it work and moved to Truenas Scale.

I gotcha, thanks for the response

LinuxServer container is not compatible. I am working on switching to Terratrax Nextcloud-Multimedia container. I still am not able to get Tensorflow GPU working, but the rest of the requirements are in this container. There is something else I am missing.
