I want to encrypt and sftp the data off site. At the moment I use the appdata backup plugin which stops containers and only backs up locally. Thanks! Quote Link to comment

There is a reason why the container(s) is/are being stopped^^ Otherwise you can use any and i mean any file-sync container/program to sync your backups to somewhere else. I use Syncthing for multiple things but mega-sync works too. Your cup of tea to choose what you gonna use to send files from A to B Quote Link to comment
foo_fighter Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 the only way to do this with a live file system is with replication like on ZFS(or BTRFS). You can use sanoid/syncoid to setup replication of ZFS snapshots. Quote Link to comment
