March 9, 200818 yr I currently have 4.2.1 pro . I want to upgrade to 4.2.3 The curred flash drive already has bzimage and bzroot files. Where do I copy the new files? Do I just copy them over the previous files? or delete previous bzroot and bzimage?
March 9, 200818 yr Yes, you just overwrite your existing files on the USB-flash and reboot. But perhaps you want to make a backup/copy of the bzimage and bzroot first, in case you want to do a fast roll back. That’s what I did. The procedure is also described here: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=1564.0 Cheers Søren
March 9, 200818 yr I usually rename the existing bzroot and bzimage files to bzroot421 and bzimage421 (named after the release they are part of) and then copy the two new files from the new release to the flash drive. If I want to put the old release files back, I can just rename them to their old names. Joe L.

You could then make a menu entry for it in 'syslinux.cfg': default menu.c32 menu title Lime Technology LLC prompt 0 timeout 50 label unRAID OS menu default kernel bzimage append initrd=bzroot rootdelay=10 label Memtest86+ kernel memtest label unRAID OS 4.2.1 kernel bzimage421 append initrd=bzroot421 rootdelay=10
