Disk problem

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I've been having a problem with a disk for a few days. In my Unraid there are 10x4TB 1 is parity. Eight of the disks are connected to an HBA adapter. Last week disk 6 failed with read errors. I then installed a new one, rebuilt the disk from parity and everything went well. Now it has happened twice that the VM in unraid was no longer online because the ISO was gone. In fact only the one folder with Windows 7 Iso was gone, all others were there and available.

Then I looked around and saw that the Win 7 iso should be on disk 6, but I can't access the disk via start and the file explorer in Unraid, invalid path is the message. Strangely enough, the disk is shown as active and OK.

While searching I had the idea to do a parity check without correction, but I canceled it because after 0.7 % more than 100k errors were displayed.

I have attached my diagnosis, I hope it is correct.

I actually wanted to restart now but I will leave everything as it is for now and wait and see if someone here has a better idea for me.

Thanks for the help

Looks like there is a power/connection issue with disk6, check/replace cables, then check filesystem on that disk, run it without -n.
