February 10, 20242 yr Hello, Is it possible to replace the parity disk with a smaller capacity drive as long as it is still larger than the data drives? Trying to determine whether I need to keep another 10TB on standby or if an 8TB is fine. Data drives are 4TB. Thanks!

With parity drives the only requirement is that none of them are smaller than the largest data drive.
