WallaceTech
Guys. Just want to check before i spend money. In my unRaid box i have one standard on board NIC. What i would like to do is add another two NIC cards to the box. What i am planning on doing is using a crossover cable from each of the two NICs in unRaid and plugging each one in to a seperate NIC on each of my two ESX servers. This way i keep the traffic relating to the VM datastore which will be on unRaid off my local network. so before i spend money can unRaid support multiple NIC's The onboard for example will be on 192.168.1.0/24 and the two extra NICS will be on 192.168.2.0/24 Thanks in advance Link to comment
Joe L.
It has no GUI interface to manage them, but if on separate subnets you can enable them all using command line commands. In the very latest beta13, I think you can have two on the same subnet. Link to comment
WallaceTech
Thanks for the reply mate. Do you know what the commands are that i would need? Is anyone on the site running multiple NIC cards? Link to comment
