February 20, 20242 yr Is this normal and how do I balance the disk storage load to all disks? It seems that my server is only utilizing Disk 1. see attached photo. Will this affect VM Disk IO performance? Thanks in advance for enlightening me.

February 20, 20242 yr Community Expert isos does have some files on disk2. Did you force that in some way, or did Unraid decide that on its own?

February 20, 20242 yr Community Expert That implies that Unraid decided to put files on disk2 then. So we need more details about exactly how you are writing to that share. For example, when doing a bulk transfer, some methods will create all the folders in advance, then just fill those pre-created folders. If the folders are created when the drive is below highwater, it could wind up with a lot of files written past highwater just because it is filling those folders.
