Hello

i am a total newby and i need some help from the forum.

First i am not sure if i am at the right place here but i will give it a try

I did make an image copy via the usb constructor and the unraid server is running and i am able to connect via the IP-Adress

I set up a user for the test besides the "admin" user

On the server i installed the JRE and the Database i am connecting to from a JAVA jar.

Now my question

How can the testuser start the jar to run my application ?

THX for any help

Still don't understand. How are you installing java on Unraid?

Hmmm

i was obviously to fast and didn't think about it first.

Of course my approach is nonsense

I learned that the Unraid Servwer has no connection to any data from the PC it is running on.

What is the current method to enable a user to run my application somehow ?

I like to learn new skills but sometimes i feel overwhelmed by the number of topics 🙂

Unraid is the OS. It has access to the data on the PC it is running on.

But it sounds like you think Unraid is something you install on another OS.
