Experiencing Random Reboots

Recommended Posts

Hi all, wanted to see if I'm overlooking anything, but I've been experiencing some random reboots of my server for the last 6 months or so.  I've been reviewing my system logs after each event and never see anything listed that would point me to anything specific.

I'm assuming it's some sort of hardware issue (RAM, PSU?) but I wanted to share my system diagnostics and log file to see if I'm missing anything on these events.  The most recent event occurred today (3/5) at 0700.

Thanks for the support!

The syslog in the diagnostics is the RAM copy and only shows what happened since the reboot.   It could be worth enabling the syslog server to get a log that survives a reboot so we can see what happened prior to the reboot. The mirror to flash option is the easiest to set up, but if you are worried about excessive wear on the flash drive you can put your server’s address into the Remote Server field.

Can you double check that please?  I actually already have a syslog server set up and mirrored to the flash drive and the log was pulled directly from the flash drive.  When I look at it, it goes back all the way to Jan 29...?

EDIT - I reread your comment, and you're right inside the diagnostics file, which is why I attached the separate syslog file.
