grrminator
I have my unraid setup as follows: 2 parity drives. 3 Disks in the array. All are 10TB disks. Problem: The shares are currently set to highwater. I used a the cp command via console to copy all of my data (14 terrabytes) to /mnt/userdata/data as unraid in console said there is 27tb there. However, Disk 1 is now ALMOST full, the other two are EMPTY. Question 1: Will the copy command stop when disk 1 fills up, or will it move automatically to the next disc (I used cp command) Question 2: If it doesnt stop, how would I use the unbalanced plugin to rebalance all the drives? Question 3: How would I copy the data over (because its on an external disk mounted to the machine via unassigned devices) so it doesnt ignore highwater in the future? Did some googling and I wasnt finding 100% clear answers or certainties. Any help is appreciated! Please and thank you Edited March 9 by grrminator Quote Link to comment
itimpi
You are likely to get better informed feedback if you attach your system’s diagnostics zip file to your next post in this thread. It is always a good idea when asking questions to supply your diagnostics so we can see details of your system, how you have things configured, and the current syslog. Quote Link to comment
