Mkvtoolnix on Unraid directly in CLI

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a script that I want to run in the background using User scripts plugin.

This script needs Mkvtoolnix lib to be installed.

Is it possible to install it on Unraid directly to be visible in the User scripts?

I know there is a container with Mkvtoolnix but this won't work for me as I don't want to run script in the container.

Why not? Using containers to run scripts is actually quite convenient. See my comments in this thread for more info on how to do it.
