Morning all, hope you are good and hoping you can help.

 

Am a complete noob to unraid and am starting to configure a new install.

 

I have assigned a parity drive and a data drive to an array and have realised I haven’t formatted the disk that had old data on it.

 

Do I need to break the array and format it prior to synch?

 

Additionally, which file system should I be using?
