Any time there is a large write operation the system will become unresponsive. This includes extracting from an archive, moving transcodes from cache folder to correct share or mover moving from cache pool to array.

 

Pi-hole, Unraid WebUI, Jellyfin, etc will all freeze during this time until the load drops off a bit.

 

I've made sure certain shares are exclusive.

I've tried running certain dockers alone. Sab will freeze it up during extraction. TDarr will freeze it up off and on during any operation.

 

I've just been banging my head for 2 days now. I'm on the verge of getting new cache SSDs just to test that.

did you ever get anywhere with this? Having the same issue.

I had a disk controller completely fail two days later. I also replaced sata cables and a pair of new SSDs for my cache array while I was at it. Just in case.
