May 4, 20242 yr I set up a fresh installation on a new machine. I let parity build on my parity drive. I have a second drive of the same size in the array. It is unusable, stating "Unmountable: Unsupported partition layout" I attempted to format it using the option at the bottom of the page. The message will change to "Formatting" briefly, before then reverting back to "Unmountable" There is no file system on this drive and no partitions. I can't figure out how to properly wipe it and get Unraid to be happy with it. Thanks for any help.
May 4, 20242 yr Community Expert Solution I would suggest rebooting and trying again. If it still does not work then post your system’s diagnostics zip file taken after the failed attempt.
