pedaars
I swapped from a 500gb to a 1tb drive and I had issues with the 1tb drive so swapped the drive back. I created a new config and messed up the assignment of the drives. I added my drive 1 as a parity drive 2 and started the server without ticking to accept the parity is fine I noticed my mistake after a minute or 2 and stopped the array and now my data drive is unmountable. I tried unassigning it and starting the array in maintenance mode, and the drive was not emulated. What do I try next? tower-diagnostics-20240505-1928.zip Quote Link to comment
itimpi
I am afraid if you assigned a data drive as a parity drive you have almost certainly wiped much of its contents. You may find that file recovery software such as UFS Explorer on Windows can recover some (maybe most) of the drive contents. Quote Link to comment
