GUI crashing on unraid v6.12.10

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with Unraid GUI crashing.

On a fresh boot, the GUI runs fine, but after a few days I start to encounter issues.

Docker tab not loading properly (empty page), plugin page infinitely loading, and on some occasions I get "page not responding" error on chrome. Main page only loads half the content (cannot see my drives, but I can see the stop array and reboot/shutdown buttons). When I try to open terminal from the GUI it immediately closes.

The issue started occurring for at least the last 2 or 3 versions of Unraid (I cannot pinpoint exactly when I started to encounter this issue), and it's temporarily solved by rebooting. Then a few days later it starts to reappear.

Common syslog errors I keep getting are "chan: error publishing message" and "ngx_slab_alloc() failed: no memory". That's when I know I'm a few hours away from Unraid GUI crashing.

All dockers and VMs run fine

I appreciate any help I can get.

Try closing any browser windows open to the GUI, only open when you need to use it then close again.

Thanks for the input. I usually keep a tab open, but I'll try closing all windows and only open it when needed and test it over the next few days. In the meantime, is there a way to restore functionality without a reboot?

Not that I know of, you can try restating nginx, but not sure it will help.
