Get Braswell UART and I2C support for PR4100

Hi all,

 

I am running unraid on my PR4100 from wetsern digital and trying to control the fan PWM and LCD display. But this is not possible at the moment, because unraid lacks I2C and UART support for the Braswell controller.

 

I found a script for FreeNAS to control all these peripherals, but i do not have the following devices:

 

/dev/cuau3
/dev/ada

 

I also can't run this command either:

 

sysctl -n dev.cpu.0.temperature

 

Do i need to upgrade the unraid kernel? Is it possible to control the I2C and UART via docker without upgrading the unraid kernel?

I have created a script based on wdhws v1.0 from TFL.

 

This script can control the LCD, buttons, power LED and fan speed.

 

CreLab: Unraid hardware control for WD PR4100 (github.com)

 

The next step would be to install the script via unraid app install. Who can help me with this?
