May 17, 20242 yr Hello, I have an issue; after the system hung up last night, i did a hard reboot and now the array gets stuck on "Starting" as well as the Cache Pool that holds the AppData gets stuck on "mounting". I would like to recover the AppData .. I have a plex container that Im assuming has all the configuration and setting of my libraries and custom posters and my family and friends shares that would be erased if I started over? Thank you for your help ion advanced please help! anyone.... Edited May 30, 20242 yr by KilikLinks

May 18, 20242 yr Author Unfortunately my Parity drive failed after multiple stops and starts of the array and system reboots when the cache drive would get stuck on mounting. I'm doing a Parity Sync and will take 2 days - I figured to upgrade to 2x 20TB Parity drives to extend the array storage. @JorgeB thank you for the reply, I am fairly new at this and have been reading alot, I will try to see if the zpool mounts read only, do I enter this command when the array is in maintenance mode>? If the file format is corrupted is there a way to try to repair the file format? I have seen videos showing XFS repair thru the gui on maintenance mode thru the settings tab, and not sure if its possible to do this with zfs? I also have a backup of the appdata that is on the cache drive on the array, but its a few months old. If I had to reformat the cache drive how would I go about unpacking the CA_appdata.tar backup onto the cache pool drive. I tried using the pluggin CA_Appdata but it doesn't work anymore on my Unraid Version 6.12, and the new Appdata Backup pluigin is not compatible with the old backups..... any guidance would be appreciated @JorgeB

Nope, do with it with the array stopped, if it works you can then start the array, GUI will still show the pool unmountable but the data will be under /mnt/cache. 15 hours ago, KilikLinks said: I have seen videos showing XFS repair thru the gui on maintenance mode thru the settings tab, and not sure if its possible to do this with zfs? No, zfs doesn't have fsck.
May 19, 20242 yr Author Hello @JorgeB, unfortunately the readonly did not work, it just gets stuck on mounting after starting the array, I cannot access the /mnt/cache
