If corruption is detected it is made read-only to prevent further damage. Use checkdisk, or scandisk in a windows PC to fix. Joe L.

martindell Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Lifesaver, thanks. Was getting read only filesystem and weird errors, windows checkdisk on the flash drive sorted it all out - phew
paul Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 I'm having this same exact issue, running unraid v 5.0.5. How are you running windows chkdsk on the unraid server? are you removing the usb drive and plugging into a windows computer to run? Are there other options from either the unraid console (logged in as root) or perhaps from Mac? Thanks for any and all help!
dgaschk Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Plug the flash drive into a Mac or PC and run check disk.
