July 17, 20241 yr I have a windows 11 vm running steam everthing runs like a charm gpu passtrough every game works except Ubisoft games (far cry6 , division 2) they have horrible performance gpu and cpu util doesn’t exceed 20% so something is holding it back. other games (hitman 3, Elden ring , etc) have 60plus fps on ultra 1080p but Ubisoft games don’t exceed 20fps any thoughts?
September 16, 20241 yr Hi, you might want to try this: sysctl -w kernel.split_lock_mitigate=0 or add the boot parameter: split_lock_detect=off You can read about the issue here: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Split_lock_detection I've recently faced similar issue when running Division 2.
June 16, 20251 yr Thank you so much for this fix! I was going crazy with crashes in my gaming VM. This fixed the issue!
