July 26, 20241 yr So this is actually new info to me, I was unaware MCE was a thing... I was notified by FixCommonProblems of an MCE event, began diving through logs and found these lines Quote Jul 22 08:22:50 Server mcelog: Kernel does not support page offline interface Jul 22 08:22:50 Server mcelog: Cannot read sysfs field /sys/kernel/security/lockdown: No such file or directory Jul 22 08:22:50 Server mcelog: Kernel in lockdown. Cannot enable DIMM error location reporting Jul 23 21:31:08 Server kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged Like I said above, new to MCE so I'm not sure exactly what this is telling me. The only thing that is looking familiar is the mention of DIMM which has me suspecting memory? Hoping someone a bit more experienced can take a peek and share whats going on? syslog.txt server-diagnostics-20240726-0816.zip Edited July 26, 20241 yr by MrCTS
