EMC-KTN-STL3: General Questions

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I'm planning a new Media Server build, that will be running Plex and the normal ARR dockers.  My plan is to use a 4U Chassis to hold the main components, and 2 EMC-KTN-STL3 for drive storage.  Cache Drives will be M.2 SSDs on the MOBO, so the two disk trays will hold the 28 array drives and 2 parity drives.  The back of the disc array chassis has the following external connections. Can anyone give me some advice on this setup?  What HBA card should I use to run both Disc Enclosures. and what cables would I use?  Any help is appreciated!!

If you plug both power supplies in, its not too loud. I feel my cobbled together tower NAS is louder.
