  2. Hello all, I am getting this eror message via Fix Common Problems: Machine Check Events detected on your server Your server has detected hardware errors. You should install mcelog via the NerdPack plugin, post your diagnostics and ask for assistance on the unRaid forums. The output of mcelog (if installed) has been logged I have Nerdpack/mcelog installed and active, and I have the mcelog, just no idea how to decode it. The syslog is attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated. syslog
  3. Hello all, I have a 36 Bay 4U Rackmount Server that i am setting up as a PLEX Media Server. I have mainly had experience with WD Red drives, but I honestly don't know which drive is best for this size of an array. The new Iron Wolf Pro drives look promising, but I have no experience with Seagate drives. Any input would be appreciated.
  4. Hello all. I am new to unRaid, and I'm about to embark on a trial run. This server will be used primarily as a Plex Server, but I will be experimenting with the other aspects of the OS. I'm just unclear if it is better to run Plex within docker or just use the standard Plex plugin, and what are the pros/cons of each setup? Thanks in advance!
  5. Thank you for the input. Any recommendations for the CPU/MOBO? I have been out of the PC Parts loop for about 4 years...
  6. Hello all. I am completely new to unraid, and to the forum, so I apologize if I am posting in the wrong space. I'll be using the server as a Sonar/Usenet/Plex machine. I will be using 2 - 3 Shield TV's as my Plex clients. I wouldn't mind playing with VM's for a windows install for BD ripping software but it's not required. I have included a PCPartpicker link, does my build seem adequate for what I'm wanting to do? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mwt7Gf Thank you in advance!
