stultus
Upgraded a couple months ago from 6.10.3 to 6.12.10. Old version was bulletproof, uptime for 9+ months at a time. New OS becomes unresponsive to web requests/dockers stop working randomly after ~3-4 weeks of uptime. Physical console is unresponsive but shows no errors. System then requires an unclean power cycle. I mirrored syslog to flash, and attached the logs below. I see nothing jumping out at me. Can anyone take a look....? sophos-diagnostics-20240814-0839.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged, upgrade can just be a coincidence, it could have coincided with a new hardware issue or some container change that is now creating issues, I would recommend downgrading first to confirm if it's still stable with the previous release. stultus
Thanks for this. What risks are there in downgrading (beyond plugins)? I'm a little paranoid about system OS revisions. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Should be fine, you can always upgrade again if needed. Quote Link to comment
