New Server: Error Trying to Connect to Internet When Booting.

I am trying to set up UNRAID on a new server. When I boot from the USB stick I get the following error:

Waiting 30 seconds for device to come on line (see attached image).

 

I have tried using a new ethernet cable in case the one I was using was faulty. If I use an Archlinux USB installer on a USB stick it connects to the Internet OK. So it doesn't appear to be a hardware problem.

That message is nothing to with the internet - it means Unraid is not seeing the flash drive for the second stage of the boot process.

 

Are you sure the flash drive is labelled ‘UNRAID’ (all capitals).

Thanks. The USB stick was correctly named UNRAID. I decided to go for the "Nuke from orbit" solution and reformat and re-create the USB drive. It's now working OK.
