Plex Nvidia Transcoding Issue

Featured Replies

I am currently running the binhex-plexpass container, and before entering the NVIDIA_VISIBLE_DEVICES information, the plex server can already see my 1050 TI and can list it for hardware transcoding.

I still am having issues running a 6.5GB .mkv file (among others) with the basic error message "This server is not powerful enough to convert video."

I am running a Ryzen 5 5600 and GTX 1050 Ti, both of which are not currently under any heavy load. What would be my next step in getting the server to properly start transcoding? I already listed the Nvidia Driver Plugin's GPU identifier and updated the plexpass container to no effect.

You can go directly to the correct support thread for this container by clicking its icon in your Unraid webUI and selecting Support
