August 26, 20241 yr Hi, I'm using Unraid OS Plus since 02 Feb 2017 and there has not been time yet to keep the server updated. Another reason was that the old setup was sortof fragile, so I decided to just stick with the version that I have. Currently, the OS version is 6.9.2 and I want to update my OS. Now I see that one has to pay for updates? I have missed that over the past years apparently, so what I understand is that I cannot update my system until I pay again or take a subscription?
August 26, 20241 yr Community Expert Solution Your existing licence is entitled to Lifetime upgrades since you bought before the new licensing scheme came into affect. If you want you can upgrade it to Pro but that is not necessary unless you want the support for additional drives.
