September 1, 20241 yr Hi All I havent seen this error in a long time? : Docker image disk utilization of 97% But after upgrading to version 6.12.13 I got this again. I stopped the dockers and took a screenshot of the utilization: I then waited and when I starting getting the email warning I took another screenshot The Plex media server is going crazy! But my configuration is the same? I haven't changed anything for a year: Any idea on what to do? Attached diagnostic file. September 1, 20241 yr Author Restarting the Plex docker and I am back to normal: Extra parameters: --no-healthcheck --log-opt max-size=50m --log-opt max-file=1 --restart unless-stopped --mount type=tmpfs,destination=/tmp/PlexRamScratch,tmpfs-size=68719476736 --memory=64G Edited September 1, 20241 yr by casperse
September 3, 20241 yr Author Update. The only logic behind such a large increase to the docker was some internal process in Plex logging or downloads? I found some users with enabled download to device, I disabled these and havent seen this happen again (Cross my fingers). The funny thing is that I always had this disabled for all users (Memory is not a good solution if you enable downloading and transcoding of files to another format)
September 7, 20241 yr Author UPDATE: That didn't solve it keep getting these errors, and its not Plex that is low now. Edited September 7, 20241 yr by casperse
September 8, 20241 yr Author Okay testing the tmp location it looks like it doesent save the scratch file in the folder anymore. Is the syntax changed? --no-healthcheck --log-opt max-size=50m --log-opt max-file=1 --restart unless-stopped --mount type=tmpfs,destination=/tmp/PlexRamScratch,tmpfs-size=68719476736 --memory=64G I havent changed anything so something must be wrong. The syntax in the advanced settings? --mount type=tmpfs,destination=/tmp/PlexRamScratch,tmpfs-size=68719476736 --memory=64G CAn anyone help me in trial and error haven't helped so far 🙂
September 8, 20241 yr Author Update: I removed the --memory=64G and it seems like it saves scratch data in the correct folder again
