Yep, that's right I caved and got the JMCD-12S4 from TaoBao, after reading byte pursuits write up and loosing my patience from waiting for the Jonsbo N5, I decided to pull the trigger on the JMCD. Originally purchased Aug 20th, arrived Sept 5. The case did sit at the superbuy warehouse for 2 extra days  as I didn't see fans in the photos and had to wait for them to check and get back to me. 

 

I will be working on upgrading internals and transplanting the drives from my Jonsbo N3 over the weekend and should have a video of the build ready soon. 

 

In the meantime, I decided to shoot a video first look at the case as there isn't much out there about it outside of Byte Pursuits awesome write up.

LouieV - can you give me your thoughts on this list as to whether I have everything correct? What length breakout cable 1,6 ft or 3.3 ft?

@ItsLouieV, do you know the difference between the JMCD 12S4-1 and the JMCD 12S4-4? I don't see any technical differences, only price.

 

Great review videos as well. I'm sold.

I've not seen either of those models, but maybe they've started making some revisions? Can you DM me links as I might be looking into getting another.

I sent a message to them via Alibaba and they replied within minutes. They sent me this chart. I'm not sure what "fans" vs "fan position" is, so I'm just going with the 12S4-4.

 

 

Maybe -1 and -2 does not come with fans ("position" = mounting positions) and -3 and -4 have fans pre-installed?

Im assuming this is correct. I ordered the one with all the fans and cables which I think is 12S4-4.
