September 7, 20241 yr I have a disk error for disk 5 and I'm exactly sure what to do. I've attached a diagnostics file. When I try to run a SMART extended self-test, nothing happens. September 8, 20241 yr Community Expert Disk dropped offline so there's no SMART, check/replace cables and post new diags after array start.

September 8, 20241 yr Community Expert Solution SMART looks fine, and since the emulated disk is mounting, and assuming contents look correct, you can rebuild on top: https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/manual/storage-management#rebuilding-a-drive-onto-itself
