This is way it doesn't start, you appear to be having USB issues, note that USB is not recommended for array or pool devices.

Most likely, if all the disks are not showing up you won't be able to start the array, you can try a different port or cable, but ideally you would use SATA/SAS

What would be a better nas solution?

 

I got this enclosure to use my drives with the spare laptop I had.  

 

I don't want to loose my data.
