September 25, 20241 yr Community Expert Sep 24 19:07:02 Tower kernel: mdcmd (40): start ERROR:TOO_MANY_MISSING_DISKS This is way it doesn't start, you appear to be having USB issues, note that USB is not recommended for array or pool devices.

September 25, 20241 yr Community Expert Most likely, if all the disks are not showing up you won't be able to start the array, you can try a different port or cable, but ideally you would use SATA/SAS
September 25, 20241 yr Author Ok What would be a better nas solution? I got this enclosure to use my drives with the spare laptop I had. I don't want to loose my data.
