Russ Uno
bypass the power down script from the terminal (Mac) or other means. There are times i don't want it to auto shutdown because maybe I'm preclearing a drive or recording from my HTPC that will run after the set shutdown time. Here what I have in the go script. CTRLALTDEL=YES LOGSAVE=30 installpkg /boot/packages/powerdown-1.02-noarch-unRAID.tgz echo "/sbin/powerdown" | at 00:30 What are the exact commands I would use? Linux newbee here, I can sort of find my way a round but not fluently. Also how would i reinstate the power down script to auto shutdown? Here are my sys specs. Joe L.
you would use the atq command to see what is in the "at" queue and then It will give you numbered "jobs" pending. To see what a specific job is, type: at -c JJ where JJ = the job number. To cancel the job, type: atrm JJ where JJ = the job number. Link to comment
