Cache: Unmountable: Unsupported or no file system

Featured Replies

All the sudden my cache drive became unmountable. I was going to try running btrfs --repair, but I got a warning about not doing so without help from a Dev. Please help me understand what is happening.

There's a lot of corruption detected by btrfs, but the current issue is the log tree, type:

btrfs rescue zero-log /dev/nvme0n1p1

Then re-start the array and post new diags.

Thanks for your help. The cache drive is mounted now, but there are still some issues with the contents of the drive.

That's kind of expected with all the detected corruption by btrfs, start by correcting the RAM speeds, since Ryzen with overclocked RAM is known to corrupt data, also a good idea to run memtest after that, then I would recommend backing up what you can from the pool and reformat, then monitor for more corruption errors.

Bummer. I lost a few things, but fortunately my back up isn't too old. Thanks for the help and the tips.
