Random server issues.

Featured Replies

I have been having some issues where my server would appear to be offline and I could not even SSH into it. It still is physically powered on and is still on the network. After a hard reboot it is responsive again. I had no issues until I upgraded my hardware to be more supportive of 4k Plex streams and during this upgrade I upgraded my cache drive to a 2 nvme pool. I thought that pool was the issue so I went to a single drive and am still having these issues. About an hour ago the Docker Service failed to start. After checking the logs I found some BTRFS warnings and errors and some SQUASHFS errors. Not sure what to do now to resolve this. Any help would be appreciated.

Diags are not working, but SQUASHFS errors usually mean a flash drive problem.

Let's see if you can get the diag file now. I will order a new flash drive to see if that resolves some issues.

Seems like there is an issue with attaching diagnostics on the forum. Another thread gave me the "We could not locate the item you are trying to view."

You can get my diag file here

Sorry try again. I didn't have the permissions set right.

It may be more a RAM problem, since btrfs is also detecting data corruption, and there's a segfault, start by running memtest.

Hey so I forgot to come back in here and say what was the issue. Ended up having some bad RAM. did a memtest and immediately got errors. Swapped out the sticks and did more tests. 2 of my sticks were bad and i have been problem free since removing them.
